On top of having an extensive range of ready-made canvases in cotton, linen and polycotton, we can stretch one for you at that odd size which might be just right for you! Also, you might have acquired a really lovely unstretched artwork and we can do that too…

We offer you a choice of stretcher depth (2 and 4cm) and we’ve designed our very own bracing and stretcher bars in high-quality pine with all angles rounded (as no edges means no more marks on the front of the canvas). We’ll also make sure to add a strong bracing to support the bigger frames on the corners, across or crisscrossing depending on the size… please ask us for a quote!

Might you be looking at framing an artwork, a print, a photo, a puzzle, a whale bone or an old tee-shirt? We’ve done it all! So feel relaxed about checking in with your treasured possesion, and be sure that we are always to happy to give you a no obligation quote…

All the framing is done in our Ballina state of the art workshop with the utmost care by our experienced framers, while our creative staff is dedicated to helping you find that perfect combination of frame, mat, filet etc. for your work and… we love inventing interesting ways of making that frame special!

without forgetting the grand entrance!

Meanwhile a crazy idea was beginning to gain momentum…IMG_0389

what about…

IMG_5451

could the cap be like this? and the body make like that?

It could… and it was… by James Pearce,

with a little bit of help from his brother Jade and dad Sam…

the fab trio working here!

But there still was one burning question left to answer… what colour?

yes indeed a hard one that one… we tend to love our colours around here…

until a certain local prawn took care of that one!

(the above is a little replica made by talented local artist, Michelle Dawson)

Finally, all the beautiful ranges had found a cosy spot and the shop looking good

so, of course, we had a party… all dressed in pink…

and complete with unveiling of the giant tube!

So, now, you really can’t miss us… look for the pencils, or up for the tube!IMG_0093

See you soon!

Site, shop and framing workshop… under (re)construction!

This is what is looked like after 22 years of good and loyal services…img_0026
